2024 Presentation Night!

Last night we held our 2024 Presentation Night.

After a successful season for the club when the 3rd XI gained promotion, there was some well deserved awards handed out.

Here's the full list of award winners:

1st XI

Players Player - Matt Berry

Player of the Year - Adnan Patel

Impact Award - Ryan Wells for 3 x 6 fers in the season

Champagne Moment -Ayyaz Patel for hitting Triggas uncle's car just after he moved it out of the way of Adnan's hitting!

Batting Award - Adnan Patel - 791 runs @ 41.63

Bowling Award - Ayyaz Patel - 30 wickets @ 10.8

Players Player - Iqbal Ahmed

Player of the Year - Aitzaz Walayat

Impact Award - Liam McCann - stepping up with fantastic wicketkeeping after Shoz's retirement!

Champagne Moment - Xavier Broers - Hat Trick v Grimsargh

Bowling Award - Aitzaz Walayat - 27 wickets @ 16.15

Player of the Year - Vinoth Panchatcharam

Impact Award - Iby Hussein outstanding batting during the season

Champagne Moment - Furqan Tahir - One Handed catch at Rufford

Batting Award Iby Hussein - 373 runs @ 37.3 (League award too)

Bowling Award - Mick Brown - 39 wickets @ 6

Players Player - Jack Smith (Junior player)

Player of the Year - Adnan Shafique

Impact Award - James McGennity & Olly Ashcroft (both junior players) - outstanding junior bowling during the season

Champagne Moment - Adnan for beating club batting record in last Sunday game

Cock of The Year - Mick Brown for saying it was bad luck for anyone to touch his bat, then getting out for a golden duck v Rufford!
